Nothing's more frustrating than not being able to provide hands-on care for folks who need it. Next best thing is cash. And who's cash better than mine?

Where's the cash going? DOCTORS WITHOUT BORDERS. Aka Medicines sans Frontiers. Already positioned in Haiti, this fabulous group of committed health care workers know how to provide health and medical care in the most desolate of places and tragic of circumstances.

Thank you all! Between comments here, on fb, a handful of emails, and backlinks, we raised over a hundred bucks. I pushed paypal this afternoon - YAY!!!!! Peace, Linda
Hey Linda, I sent in $100. I had capped it at that amt., and it came close. I had about 70 comments at Care2 (but many were ongoing conversations) and 52 on my blog, but some of my sweet friends stuffed the ballot box with multiple comments, as well as dual comments on both Care2 and my blog. Another blog friend agreed to match my donation up to 25 dollars, and another to 10.
Pretty exciting stuff, huh? What a great idea of yours and also what a marvelous way to make a new friend, to say nothing of really support a charity that makes a true difference.
