Poetry in Place

This week's story is a poem, actually, and part of the LANGUAGE>PLACE Blog Carnival. This month's edition is hosted by Walter Bjorkman, a fellow Marylander, at his digs QUIK-BAKE SYNTHETICS. Peruse the mighty-fine holdings of writers you will recognize. My small contribution is HERE.

Enjoy, and peace...

  1. Lovely, absolutely, but not the perfect poem to read when it's 9,000 degrees in the ever-lovin' shade. Still, it's a beauty and finely deserving of the recognition. I shall read it again in mid-January and truly enjoy all its sultry language. In the meantime, do you have any lemonade?

  2. The heat is a popular theme all over the blogosphere right now, but nobody has a poetic voice like yours.

btw, sorry to hear about your compressed spine issue. You're on the right track looking at ergonomics and ways to change your movements/sitting positions. I'm looking into maybe buying one of those chairs that rest on a big ball. They're supposed to be good for the back and you can actually exercise while sitting.

  3. That’s amazing. I am seriously impressed and happy for you. I imagine that had to have been so rewarding for you after the long wait.
